Ahhh, Sharon! I love this! Retirement has turned me into a procrastinator. Not completely - and I still take care of things that really do need to get done. Those critical high-stakes things - not that I really have any/many?! of those but when I do, they get done.

There isn't a lot on my to-do list because I live very simply and don't have a lot of 'stuff.'

What's switched for me mostly, I think, is just that life is zipping along and if there are little things on that list, it can feel like life's too short to spend it on 'that' right now. I'd rather do 'this.'

I've got really good at deciding not much matters anymore. People, yes. Writing and the activities I enjoy, yes. Keeping myself fed and watered, the essentials done for my home and the 'business' end of life - yes. But that's all pretty simple, not really much to do. Yay!

Otherwise?? Nah. I keep myself and my life pretty low maintenance!

Maybe some of your 'stuff' can be moved to the "it doesn't really matter" pile! In retirement, shouldn't life be slower and easier? That seems a good excuse/reason to me! :)

Thanks for choosing HHH to publish this, Sharon. Such a fun read!
