Ahhh such a lovely story! Thank you for sharing this. Funny but just a few days ago, I was walking to the post office and passed a yard with a bench under a big tree. The bench was on an angle facing the sidewalk about 6-8 feet away. It looked so inviting and I had a moment of wondering what would happen if I sat there for a little while. Then I thought about ringing the bell and asking if they’d mind.

But I just kept walking.

Never thought about that before on seeing something like that. So it’s fun that a few days later, I see this story by you!
