Oh, Lordy, YES I have been there. Not so much for the 'get rich quick' side - but just that it is possible to have a quick and easy online business. I wasn't even looking for zillions. I just wanted enough to support myself doing something I love and am good at, but yeah, they don't tell you that you'll need a million dollars to pay for a marketing specialist to write your content or to pay for expensive platforms to provide your products or that you have to learn all the Stuff about sales funnels (dear God I'm still traumatised by those two words!) - and all the other "you'll have to do/buy THIS" and you'll need THIS expert help to get you there.

Especially when they say "buy my course for this low, low price of ..." and even if it was a low low price of, it wasn't all that was needed - and of course, THAT's how they made their zillions! From getting people to buy their "how to make money" courses!!!! Duh...so obvious. I caught on to that quick enough, and tried to do it myself - but ...

... you have to have a sh**load of money in order to MAKE a sh**load of money.

Yuck. Hated it so so so much especially because I suck at self-promotion and I didn't want to be another of those "LOOK AT ME! BUY MY STUFF! SIGN UP FOR MY FREE THINGY THAT'S VALUED AT 9 MILLION DOLLARS AND YOU CAN HAVE IT FREE! AND THEN I'LL HAVE AN UPSELL FOR $7 AND THEN ANOTHER FOR $47 BECAUSE THOSE ARE THE GOOD NUMBERS THAT MAKE PEOPLE BUY!!!!!"
