Yes, very difficult to share it - but it was far, far more difficult to write the other one that you just read. That one took me at least 6 weeks of hauling it out, trying to write a bit, and putting it back.

I hadn't seen most of those pics in years, and had put away most of the memories of him growing up.

It was so painful to write that story - painful in a different way from this one.
