Aw, Philip! This made me weepy! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful memory. I loved being able to chuckle about a few parts, including relating to your dear mum's desire to feed you only the best (I was hard pressed to give my kids hot dogs, too!).

I'm so sorry you lost your mum at such an early age. I can't even imagine how that was for you.
