Awww, I feel for both of you! Kevin should have said right from the start...it wasn't fair to lead you on like that, although I guess I can see why he might have been afraid to speak up (doesn't make it right that he didn't!). And poor you!!! Thinking hm, maybe this could go somewhere! And then SLAM - like being turfed out an 8th floor window and hitting the pavement. Major disappointment.
