Awww, Jim, I'm so, so sorry you've got a son who is on "self-destruct," too. I pray he sorts himself out before it gets to the point of no return.

My heart goes out to you, too - I can definitely relate to how you're feeling. You are not alone, even though you might feel as though you are. There are too many of us out here, parents of kids who are off the rails despite our best efforts.
