I wish I could continue to share everyone's stories safely, and comment on them - I so loved doing that! But I'm afraid to get shut down and then I couldn't be of service here at all. Guess I'll have to stick to the comments I leave on the stories themselves, and use the newsletterish to keep encouraging everyone to read each other's work.

I get a lot of comments on the excellent writing here, even from those who are not in our Pub Family. HHH might be small (compared to the huge pubs) but it's growing and being noticed for having quality stories.

I'm absolutely fine, my Lovely - thank you for asking! I do still have some issues with my leg, but I have such a great life, loving my home, loving my freedom to write and create or do absolutely nothing all day if I feel so inclined!!

And I'm SO grateful for these huge blessings, the minor inconveniences of a not-quite-fully-functional leg and some owies now and then are really no big deal. I think about where I was - and how long it took me to get to this point, often wondering if I would. Any improvement is better than those early months, and that first awful year.

Can't believe it's nearly 2 years now. At least I can function - even if awkwardly in some things! And I can maintain my independence. Such a gift!
