Awww sweetie, thank you for your loving message! You're so right about my mother - bless her, she did her best. It took me a long time and a lot of therapy and healing to understand that and to make my peace with her. She had her own baggage and was loaded with insecurities. It always made me sad that despite her business successes and other ways in which she was a strong, capable, woman, she always felt inadequate and threatened.
And she never saw how much I loved her, either, but thankfully we did manage to create some nice memories together before her death. I am so grateful to her for all she did for me. I know she made sacrifices and her life wasn't easy. I'm also grateful to her for being one of my best teachers in this life.
Thank you for your love and kindness. You are so precious, "Pockett" (Insert a few big hearts here! I don't have those on my computer!) Sending my love and big hugs.
