And for the record, I am right up there at the top of the list of Friends fans! But the thing is, the more you know the characters and their backstories, the funnier and more endearing it becomes. Because they are real people and it's so easy to relate to them; they represent parts of ourselves, or people we know, or family that we love/hate/love - so it's loaded with heart and connection and angst and tears, along with the laughs.

I'll go and find your HP piece and give it some love - even though I'm not a "Potterhead" and beyond the first couple of films, which I enjoyed thoroughly, I was bored and no longer impressed. Sorry.
