I've had plenty of those Everests, too! They're awful, aren't they?? I don't mind those ungraceful slides - and hoping no one is looking! At least it gets us off the dang things - both the physical kind and in metaphor!

I'd have done that in this case if I could have - but I can't get down onto the floor in my home without having a solid chair or something to hold onto while I VERY ungracefully figure out how to get there. So as I was standing in that slippery little bit of snow without anything to hold onto (besides my cane that had disappeared well into the snow!), I couldn't have done it.

I sure learned a lot that day. Or maybe not so much in quantity of lessons, but a couple of giant ones!!
