Brilliant article! Deeply insightful and I couldn’t agree more. What bugs me is that these days, this is called “ghosting” and it has a negative connotation. I’ve been on both sides of it, and at the end of the day, it’s all about respecting the needs of oneself or another if it’s clear that distance is desired.
