Deirdre, thanks so much for reading this and for your comments. I didn't mean for it to be mainly about the friendship stuff ... just the whole picture of struggling through this injury and the circumstances around it, and I meant it to be a story of overcoming and healing.

But yeah ... it was pretty sickening - the 'friend' stuff.
