Exactly!!! I was so shocked to see that a couple of weeks into this nightmare, they have to 'investigate to understand if it's because of blah blah blah'??? WHAT?? Didn't they create the program? Haven't they been watching how it's performing??

Or maybe Philip is right. I know our Indian friends have consistently been paid peanuts since joining MPP in August - way less for the same number of reads that we're used to seeing. Their cost of living is massively lower, too. But they have to pay the same membership fee that we do.

Medium can lose those of us who cost them too much and keep those 77 countries paying our membership fees after we walk, but paying lower amounts to writers, and they get more of a profit.
