Excellent, Denise!! Not long now and the world will open up for you again! Thank you for your good luck wishes. I did some digging into SSD and apparently, hearing aids don't help. Only a cochlear implant will do the trick - or that's what I've found so far. I'll ask my doc but if that's the only option, I'm happy to stay as I am. After 40 years of this, I'm used to it.
