Gosh, Yvette, I love this!! A brilliant read and I agree completely with all you've written. I adore the way you express yourself.
This would have been a perfect post for a brand new pub that is looking for new writers, if you're interested? The owner spent nearly a quarter of a century in prison and his pub is for those "whose pens are tethered to their hearts". That's the main focus, but he also writes about prison, plus wants stories about the other kinds of prison, such as what you've written here.
