Grace, I'm so sorry for the hard parts of this story, for the pain you and your family have suffered. I could feel every bit of it - in part due to my own "stuff" and ways in which I can relate to what you shared, and in part due to your incredible gift with words. I was right there with you, feeling every bit of this and it brought tears to my eyes. Wish I could give you big hugs and just sit with you. 💜

And as sorry as I am to know that you and your family have suffered, and that longstanding wounds were ripped open recently and causing further hurt, I'm also happy for you to have reached this point of letting go.

I know how hard it can be to get there, to face the need for it, and then to actually do it. And yes, it is indeed freeing when we finally allow ourselves that gift.
