Hah! I totally get this!! I remember when I was 9, my dad built some very basic storage shelves in the basement. Just 2 x 4s, plain planks to hold Christmas ornaments and all that 'stuff' that needs a long-term home out of the way. I remember my mum standing there, absolutely over the moon about these dang shelves. And I thought, what the hell kind of thing is THAT to be excited about? I mean, how boring can you get???

Then I grew up. Got excited about my own storage solutions or other exceptionally dull home/family things. Sigh......I feel old. LOL! Thanks for a fun read!
