Hi, Ben! Thank you for your message and sharing all of that. I never really gave these things any thought, as I was a kid when it first happened - or that I noticed in that really big way. I was too busy trying to cope with an abusive childhood and just get through each day to have noticed those subtler energies. But that situation with the dream and my dear friends sure got my attention.

I left home shortly after (just turned 16) and being away from that environment helped open the door, I think.

At first, I didn't "do" anything to hone the skills but it just naturally got stronger and more accurate over time. It started for me back in the Dark Ages when there were no psychic TV shows or shops or events. And nothing about being a medium, either. So it was terrifying for several years.

By the time my abilities were quite strong and these were more public topics, I did start working with them to improve. Kind of a long story, perhaps I'll write about it, but to try to answer your question, I think technically, yes, we are all born with the ability but to varying degrees, so some might not ever be able to develop it enough to get specific info but they might sense things.

Mindset can make a difference, e.g. being 100% closed to the idea of this stuff as being "real." Even then, sometimes those people have experiences but brush them off as coincidence or "nothing." Occasionally, they might experience something they cannot deny, but even if it scares the hell out of them or makes them take notice, they are usually too stubborn and close-minded to pursue activities that can strength that connection.

I have a strong suspicion that you have these abilities, based on your dreams and those strong deja vu moments, plus you are a deeply sensitive soul, which is extremely important to being good at this. Some people are born without a sensitive molecule in them (so to speak)!
