Hi, Karina! Thank you for reading this, and for sharing some of your experience. I can sure relate to what you said. I'm sure anyone can! Sometimes being tired or stressed can make it difficult for us to be our best selves. But we're the best we can be in those moments. We're human. We're flawed. We mess up.

What's most important is to be aware of those moments and to keep working at being better when they happen, which is what you're doing. I love the way you described it - reaching for the higher you because the lower one wants to eat you up.

Yup. That about sums it up!

The fact that you are aware of these moments and you want to keep reaching for the highest version of yourself means that you're on the right path, and you will continue to grow and improve.

We're all works in progress. I still have one or two 'old things' that bubble up and try to bite me in the backside but the more I practice letting go of those thoughts, the less often they happen, and the less they hurt each time.

Just gotta keep doing our best. Can't ask for more than that, right?
