Hi, Loren, thank you so much for your kind message. Yes, back then it would have been a litigation party indeed!! Nope, this has been a permanent loss. Apparently, with some acoustic trauma hearing loss, there is treatment if caught right away. Others, not so much — and from what I’ve learned so far, not usually beyond six weeks, never mind a lot of years. If it had been a minor loss, it would have been easier.
