Thank you for sharing some of your story. My goodness ... that's so hard. I understand the crossed fingers but being cautious. We can always hope for better, but it's hard not to expect the worst - or at least, be prepared for it.

And I get how it feels to wish they'd go to prison because they're safe - although it's not always a safe place either, is it ...

My fingers are crossed for him, too. And I will send up some prayers - wishes or good intentions or positive energy or whatever you want to call it - to the universe, the powers that be, hoping that somehow that energy lands with him, along with the good wishes of others who love and support you and him.
