Holy smoke! That's pretty cheeky!! Jeez, Louise! Shocking! I think if that sort of thing ever happened again - or in ANY situation where someone asks a rude and judgemental question that's none of their business - I would just say, "I don't recall asking for your opinion."

Better yet, I'd acknowledge the rudeness with something like, "Wow, I've met some rude people before but you're the clear winner."

Or maybe just laugh and shake your head, turn back to your gossip mag and keep reading. :)
