I could relate to what you wrote in various ways. I was taken from my teen birth mother after bonding with her, then was in foster care for a while, bonding with at least one other person (don't know how many), then adopted by a woman who never liked me from the moment I entered their home. I was about 6 months old and had already had that mother bond broken more than once and was desperate to be loved. But got someone who was very cruel and did a lot of damage.

So I resonated with many of your feelings and experiences, even if they weren't from exactly the same reason or situation. I can imagine how deep those wounds are, because I spent decades chipping away at healing my own.

So for what it's worth, there's someone out here (and sadly, many more) who understands the depth of your pain. Thank heaven for healing, and for being part of a community that shares its pain as well as its joys and its healing, so that people like you and me have a safe place to be, and where we don't feel so alone anymore.
