I don't think I can read this. I started...and loved your beautiful writing - but I cannot cope with hearing the sad, awful bits that I suspect this piece contains. Especially after your "Dim and grim" statement. I didn't dare go further. It doesn't help that I'm a cat lover.

But the recording was an interesting touch to add! I have an impossibly awful time with the suffering of others. No doubt this is a powerful story loaded with emotion. Sorry I'm such a baby :(
