I have a massive issue with this "Akashic Records" thing, too, for all the reasons you mention - plus all experiences I've had with people who are supposedly experts and brilliant at seeing this information have been complete rubbish. Totally wrong, missed the mark. Even years later, I can confirm that all the stuff they said would or would not happen has been wrong.

At least in those cases, they had great imaginations but that's about it. So if there IS any truth to this, I've certainly not seen it.
