I live in Calgary and last night was reading an update on the city's website about a situation with water here. A section of a main water pipe was damaged and over the past several days, the entire city (1.6 million people) has had to restrict water use so we don't run out while they're taking out the old section and putting in a new one.

Earlier, I'd been contemplating the topic for today's "weekly newsletterish" for my Pub Family, and on reading the pipe repair update, decided to write about that and water today.

I was thinking of you and your year's worth of water writing, couldn't imagine coming up with so much to say!

You were so polite when you wandered through my head (didn't even make any noise or leave muddy footprints or anything, you were so respectful, and such nice company!). Haha! 😁
