I share your anger, Sherry. I’m British and Canadian and in both countries, gun laws are very strict. Not even allowed handguns at all in Britain. In canada, they’re restricted and you can only get one after you’ve passed your restricted firearms course and got your license, and then have to join a gun club. Even for rifles and shotguns you have to take a course for several weeks and pass before getting your license.

I’ve seen banks in the US saying “open an account with us and get a free gun!” 😵‍💫🫣

We also have crazy strict rules for storing guns and ammunition. (Gun disabled, in a locked box, well out of sight and reach, and stored separately from where ammunition is kept). If you get caught missing any one of those steps, it’s 2 years in jail for first offence.

Of course we have shooting deaths too, but nowhere remotely near US stats!!

Until the US changes its laws, there will be countless needless deaths. Such a tragedy.
