I so love reading your stories and especially about your love for your fur babies. It comes through the clearest and loudest when you write about the tragedy of losing them.

I don't know if you read my short series about my snakes - and in particular, my little Bob - and how an animal communicator changed our lives. I can't tell you how often my jaw was in my lap over the few years he worked with my boys (well, the two I had at that time). Absolutely astonishing.

And I can tell you that yes, animals know about death and they know when they're going to die, and when we're contemplating whether it's time to have them put down.

Thank you for sharing this story, Deborah. Big hugs to you, the kind that only one grieving pet mama can give another.
