I think you’re being way too hard on yourself calling previous choices “mistakes.” You did your best to be responsible people and parents. Kids don’t come with manuals. We have to wing it. All we can do is our best. And you definitely did yours. And you still do and always will.

Plus, you’ve given your kids a great start. They have a world of difference in knowledge and experience about being vegan and why it’s an important option.

You’ve only done good things for your family because it was all well-intentioned. So you learned more along the way. That’s life. Change is good. You’ll keep learning and you’ll keep doing your best. And your kids will appreciate having parents who have shown them there’s always another side to the story.
