I was a single parent for several years - scattered in between too many marriages - and with up to five kids. So I can really relate to a lot of what you've shared.
Fortunately, in situations where I've had a former spouse who was bothering with children (twice), they were great about maintaining consistency. This helped a lot. Heaven knows I had enough other stuff to deal with.
I'm so glad you've found a solution to all the stress and upset and you're feeling better!! Great that you're exercising, getting out in nature, the depression is lifting etc.
Thank you so much for sharing this story. I'm sure it'll do a lot of good for many. And I appreciate the nudge about a routine and a regular sleep schedule. I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to get there, and how to do it in a way that feels great and works best.
