I'm regretting renewing my annual FoM in September but can't do anything about it - except I've already downgraded to regular so no more FoM for me later this year. Not especially because of how it has impacted me personally, but because the increase in cost to be here doesn't seem to be providing the value to anyone that it promised. The energy here has changed a lot - not in a good way.

I don't give Medium much room in my head in terms of being bugged about it. I get to choose what I think about and I'd rather focus on the good bits - of M and of life in general.

I show up and write what I want to write, read and engage where it feels good, I never look at my stats, and am grateful for the community and whatever earnings I receive.

Not going to waste my energy on diving into the negative aspects; life is too short for that here or anywhere else.
