I’m so glad you’re getting some counselling. It might help by at least validating your feelings and maybe give you some useful tools to ease feelings of stress and trauma.
I can relate to a lot of what you said and with the insane movie of the week crises that were always central to my life, I didn’t fit anywhere either. And I’ve always “coped.”
You’re not alone, even though you must feel that way. There are many others out here who understand the essence of your experience.
