It is extremely difficult to live in England as compared to Canada and there are a LOT of reasons why Canada is so much easier and better. But when I start feeling frustrated by those English Miseries, I remind myself of the many beautiful things about this country and the reasons I chose to move here. Canada is a magnificent country; it's not perfect either but there aren't really the same "down sides" as there are here in England.

But I'm from Western Canada - Calgary - where there is nothing like the hundreds-of-years-old buildings, the stone cottages, the sense of history, the pubs, the charm and even some of the quaint words and phrases here. I don't miss minus 40 temps in winter either!! Not a fan of Calgary weather! But otherwise, I'm not here because I didn't like something about Canada, I'm here because in spite of the challenges of living in the UK, I love England.
