It was difficult being a single parent. Mostly I worked from home but was still 'otherwise occupied'. Plus I was self-employed and had to take work when I got it, because sometimes there were periods when there was none.

Then of course there was no one to help with meals, shopping, laundry, cleaning etc. So I had all that to do, too.

Sadly, we can't always do things the way we wish we could, but we do the best we can with what we've got.
