Medium feels like a big machine that just does its thing without any sort of transparency and we're at its whim.

It has been MASSIVELY discouraging the past few months to see income at horrifically low levels again - and many people are talking about this, and leaving because of it.

I spend 6-8 hours a day here - as I did before - but over the past few months, something is very different. My earnings are now pathetic. Some days I only earn $1-2.

I've worked hard to build warm and supportive communities on my publications (called My Pub Family). I give a lot to Medium and this community. It feels like a kick in the teeth to suddenly be putting in virtually full-time hours and earning pennies.

And of course, I am definitely not alone. There are lots of us out here, pouring our hearts and souls - and time that we could be doing other things that are more lucrative - into this platform and it feels like a huge betrayal to see what's been happening here over the past few months (and don't even get me started on the boost issues).

If there's anything you can do to start shifting this boat back to where it was earlier this year for ROI, I will be hurling myself at your ankles and kissing them.
