Kris, I don't even know what to say to this...I'm loaded with emotion but lost for words. I'm so, so sorry for all you've been through - and are still going through - because of breast cancer. I had no idea you were still struggling so much. You are always so positive, writing such sweet, inspiring posts, and there's that slightly mischievous smile on your profile pic...I would never have guessed that this is how you're feeling behind the smile and the cheery, uplifting words.

Thank you so much for being honest and sharing the other side of your life. Thank you for welcoming us into your pain, your self-doubt and your fear. Maybe in doing so, your Medium family can be another blankie for you. In pouring out your heart, you have connected with anyone who reads your powerful words and touched that person's life deeply.

It's okay to need your blankie and there's no deadline to that. All of us are struggling with one demon or another, one fear or another. All of us have our blankies in some form or other. Thank heaven we have them. Life is hard sometimes. We need all the help we can get.
