Moving into my current home was my 50th move. Eight international moves. Very expensive so I got better and better at letting go of treasured items, antiques, gifts, mementos, so much I loved.

It was hard. Sooo hard. But got easier with time because I knew the energy shift was worth it. So much lighter and freer.

One thing that helped was I took digital pictures of cards, ornaments, furniture, anything I didn’t want to let go but had to. The idea of photos was comforting.

And I’ve never looked at them. Some of them nearly 20 years old.

When you hold on to physical objects from the past, you can’t ever fully move into the future.

Hard to move on after a big loss, I know.
