By the way, you invited me to write for your pub a while back but when I read the guidelines, it looked like it was only for stories of synchronicity (I'm really sleepy at the moment, so please forgive me if I'm being brief and maybe not getting the exactly right words for what your guidelines said).

As I mentioned at the time you so kindly extended the invitation, this isn't a topic I particularly write about so I declined.

Somewhere along the way, I thought I saw a piece or two that were not on that topic. Maybe I'm wrong - but I thought I'd check with you. Is there a broader scope for your pub or is it really just on that topic?
