Oh, Bonnie...You read my story about my father today, and now I'm reading this difficult one about yours! I'm so, so sorry you had such a rough road because of him! But it's so beautiful that you were able to find space for him in your heart, and to recognise that although he was terribly flawed, he was human and loved you. And you had compassion for his own painful upbringing.
