Oh, gosh! That’s awful! I’m sorry you were so ill. And still not quite back to normal. Yes, perhaps the brain takes it’s time. I think the body just uses so much energy for physical healing and maintenance, there’s not much left for creativity. I cannot believe how swollen and discoloured my knee still is and it’s still not back to full range of motion and it’s been 11 months.

I slipped on the ice, tore the quadriceps right off the bone, and broke my kneecap rather spectacularly. So had emergency surgical repair. Figured I’d be sorted in 3 months max. Laughing now (or I’d cry!). 🤣

I hope you’re able to rest a lot and take good care of yourself. I studied Chinese medicine and acupuncture briefly a long time ago. The kidneys store our energy. Infections wipe us out. Good way to restore is to be outside on the earth (not pavement, sidewalks etc). Grass, dirt, feel the earth under you every day. Imagine its powerful energy coming up and into your body and into your kidneys and stocking up on that energy again.

You might also want to investigate a wonderful kidney tonic called He Shou Wu. I’ve been taking it for 10 years. Best place I know for quality is hyperionherbs.com. Owner Brandon is extremely knowledgeable. If you search his company name with the name of the herb and perhaps add “blog” you should find a few articles about it.

Hope you feel much better soon. 🤗💖
