Oh, I so know this one ....... AWFUL.

With estrangement, or the kind of terrible unknowing that families go through when a loved one vanishes — there is no end point. Just an eternal yearning, wondering and hoping. It’s exhausting. It’s terrible for our health — has been terrible for my own.
