Oh, my, I'm in floods of tears, Rebecca. Stan's story...the lessons you took from it - I'm a mess right now. It's also bringing up memories of my first experience (that I was aware of) as a medium. I was a kid when I dreamed that my two best friends were dead, and woke up to discover it was in the morning newspaper. Their family had been on the way to a funeral when there was a collision with a train during a blizzard. The two girls died, mum and another sister almost didn't make it and were in hospital for ages. Dad and brother minor injuries only. It was hard enough to see what they endured; can't imagine only one person remaining and bearing so much loss.

You and your friends were so incredibly brave - I know, it was just "the thing to do" back then...! But still...and yikes, he had a gun. Could have had such a different ending.

I cannot even begin to imagine how Stan kept going as long as he did. And how wonderful that the Universe - in all its wisdom - connected the four of you - and added in the creepy guy Stan saw. A magical concoction of circumstances to leave you with lessons and Stan with getting his life back.

Thank you for sharing this, dear friend. So, so beautiful.
