Ohhh, Darlene!! What a beautiful story! How wonderful to have such a loving relationship with your grandfather, and the rest of your family, too. I'm so glad you stood up to that horrible woman! She is probably a lonely person with no family to love her like yours loves you, and her jealousy tried to keep you from going.

I love that you were able to see how you'd regret not going, and that it would be especially awful to do it because of THAT woman!!
