Can I just say ... there's a reason why farmers let their fields lie fallow now and then. The soil is exhausted of nutrients after giving giving giving for at least a few years. It needs time to replenish itself.

Maybe this is a good opportunity for some time off? As you said, to just enjoy the experience? And maybe write about it later? Or if the mood hits while you're away, but not in an "I have to do this" way?
