Ohhh, Suma!!! This is so good! First of all, it's a heartfelt, sweet read that made me smile right down to my toes. I felt every bit of that snuggling up with a book or a living, breathing hot water bottle on a chilly morning.
And I smile to think of all you've overcome to be as happy as you are now, and to be able to use the gifts you were given, your passion for words and for writing.
And on top of it being such a lovely story, you've shared an extra incredibly obsolete word! This one was only ever used in the 1600s. It had a brief moment of use in one small chunk of time and then disappeared! Now if THAT isn't obsolete, I don't know what is!
Brilliant word, isn't it?? It reminds me of "April" - and although we can have lovely hot days here in our spring - even mid-20s C on occasion - we can also have minus 20s C with loads of snow, where it's very much like winter. And the warmth of the sun on below-freezing April day seems like "Apricity" to me!
Thank you for responding to the newsletterish, and for your brilliant story.
And dear friend, thank you, too, for your incredibly kind comments and sharing of the recent newsletterish. I appreciate both more than I can say! 💜💜💜
