Perhaps best to NOT check your articles. It might add to your stress if it gives you those weird confusing results. As I mentioned, I've seen the same piece score from 3% to 97% depending on which AI detector I used.

I've given up using them. I look for other things now when taking on a writer. I check the 'about' on their profiles. See how many followers and following compared with when they joined Medium. See if they have a paid account. See how frequently they publish (if it's a few a day over the past week or two on a new account with a thousand followers ... it's fake, and the articles are likely AI-generated).

I check the topics, too. Are they writing a variety of different topics, often with listicles or "how to" - so there are other things I'd look at as an editor and if a person seems legit, I have no need to check their work.

I don't know what other editors do, but thought it might help to share this info. Nothing about you says "AI" to me and I'm sure other editors feel the same way. 💜
