Rebecca, this is so deeply disturbing, I have no words for it.

I applaud your brilliant writing and ability to make your points with both passion and compassion, obviously expressing deep emotion and balancing it with facts and just plain common sense - something it seems has fallen by the wayside for far too many people in your country.

I was shocked to read your words, and even more so on reading the summary of this project.

Aside from the many obvious reasons to be incredulous about this, I don't understand how those people who are screaming for this nonsense to actually happen can somehow forget that their own lives and loved ones are going to be negatively impacted in ways they can't see. Heaven knows why not - but they're in for a rude awakening, should this insane project come to fruition.

I can only hope that enough people become aware of this impending horror show, recognise it for what it is, and STOP IT before the USA self-destructs - and no doubt, there will be ramifications that reach beyond its borders.
