Sheri, this is so beautiful! It's a theme I've often used in talking with people who feel stuck and hopeless about the future or about their dreams or just getting out of an unhappy situation and making a better life.

It's that idea that "it's going to take too long, so why bother?"

And I always say, "Yeah, but those years will pass and at the end of them, if you're working toward (whatever), you'll have got there."
