It's great that Lee wanted to offer some feedback; nice that he cares enough! Some partners do NOT.

Some of the greatest poets are men who write in an incredibly "flowery" way. And I've had some very romantic boyfriends (even a couple of husbands) who wrote like that, too.

At the end of the day, you're the only one who needs to be happy with your finished product. If Lee's feedback and ideas fit for you, that's great! If you want to stick to Plan A, that's great, too!
